How To Use Email To Keep Your Members Engaged

We all work really hard to win customers, members, and subscribers. But do you work just as hard to keep them?

It's kinda old-school to just bring people in, get them signed up, and then hope that they'll stick around. It's way better for retention and reputation if you can use email to nurture them, guide them in the right direction, and get them consuming your goods.

This episode we’re diving into how to keep your members super-engaged, keep retention high, and your members loving you, all using email marketing.

Listeners Question

When you’re first starting out with email marketing, how many subscribers would you suggest having before you start sending out emails?

Rebecca Ward – #thinkSOCIALbeSOCIAL

Kennedy: It’s important to not put off starting to do email marketing. If you wait too long to start emailing the people on your list then they will forget who you are, think you’re the person who just gives away free content, and when you do promote to them they’ll just unsubscribe.

Rob: Even if you’ve got an email list of just one person, they don’t know that they’re the only person on your list. Even if you have a small list, treat it as if it’s a list of 100,000 people!
