As a coach, your voice is your brand.

That’s exactly what we’re diving into.
In this article, you'll learn how to turn A.I., specifically ChatGPT or any comparable tool, into a powerful writing partner that can handle your email marketing without compromising your personal style.

Forget Robot Talk, Make AI Sound Like You
Just a few months ago, AI writing tools were pretty meh. They could write full sentences, sure. But they sounded stiff, boring, and totally not like you. Now? That’s changed.
Today’s AI can write emails that sound just like your real voice, your jokes, your tone, even your little quirks. And if you’re a coach, that’s a big deal. Your voice is your brand. It’s how people connect with you.
The Secret Sauce? Your Voice, Not Just Words
Most people try to train AI by giving it blog posts or sales pages. That helps a little.
But here’s the trick that works even better: give it a transcript of your real voice. Like a podcast. A video. Even a voice note on your phone.
Why? Because when we write, we go into “school mode.” We write like we’re doing homework. But when we speak, we sound real. We sound like ourselves. And when someone reads your email, they “hear” your voice in their head. That’s called sub-vocalization.
So if the AI learns your voice from your real talking, your emails will feel more like a friendly chat. Not a lecture. Not a robot. Just you being you.
Train It On Your Big Ideas (So It Knows What You Believe)
Your voice is just one piece.
Next, you’ve got to feed the AI your philosophies, the things you believe. Because if you don’t, it’ll just write basic, boring stuff that sounds like everyone else.
Got a book? Give it the book. Got a blog? Feed it that. Have transcripts from coaching calls, podcasts, or your course? Even better. Dump it all in.
That way, when you ask it to write an email, it knows your take on your topic. It knows your “hot takes.” It gets your worldview. That’s what makes it sound like you, not like a copy-paste content bot.
Tell It About Your Products (So It Can Sell for You)
Now it’s time to make the AI actually help you make money.
You need to train it on what you sell. Not just the name of the product. But everything. What it does. Who does it help? Why is it different? What kind of results does it bring?
Have a sales page? A webinar transcript? A sales video? Give all of that to the AI. The more details you give it, the better it will be at writing juicy, clear, exciting emails that actually get people to buy.

Add Some Style (So It Doesn’t Sound Like a Robot)
Even with your voice and your ideas, your emails might still feel a little… flat. So it’s time to teach the AI your style.
Start by telling it to write like a friend having a chat. Not like a business report. Ask it to use contractions like “I’m” instead of “I am.” Want it to swear a little? You can do that too (or tell it not to, if that’s not your thing).
And here’s a power move: give it a list of phrases to never use. Stuff that sounds too “AI-y” or things you’d never say. Call it your “avoid list.” That’ll make your emails feel superhuman.
The Final Trick: Make It a Killer Copywriter
Want to make your emails not just sound great, but convert like crazy? Then train the AI to be a better writer.
Here’s how:
- Use Emotion – Ask it to write with feelings. Make the reader feel something.
- Simple Language – Tell it to write so a third grader can understand. No fancy words.
- No Fluff – Say goodbye to adverbs (like “really,” “very”). Use strong action words instead.
- Short Paragraphs – Keep each paragraph 1–3 sentences max. That makes it punchy and easy to read.
This is where your AI writing buddy goes from “okay” to “OMG this is GOOD.”
Write Less, Sell More, Sound Like You
So let’s recap. If you’re a coach or course creator, here’s how to make AI write emails that sound like you and sell like crazy:
- Feed it a transcript of your real voice.
- Give it your philosophies, the stuff that makes your teaching unique.
- Add all the details about your products.
- Teach it your personal writing style.
- Train it to write emails that convert.
Once you do that, you won’t just save time. You’ll be more consistent. More on-brand. And way more confident in the emails you send.
